NINE MONTHS

My little man is nine months old today! I can't believe how big he is. He had his check-up today and he's 21.6lbs, 29.75in. tall, and has a head circumference of 19in.

iPhone photo: he's been making this face a lot lately. So silly! And here are some more! I can't even tell you how hard it is to photograph this kid.

Here are some things about Alex at nine months:

-He likes to play with random things like boxes, water/soda bottles, bowls, etc. Sometimes those things are more exciting than the toys he has; it's the funniest thing.
-He's like a little puppy. He's always sticking out his tongue...
-He's pretty much a pro at pulling himself up on things.
-He has even started to stand a little bit. Only for a few seconds, but still!
-Remember how at 8 months he was standing up in the crib? Well now he does that thing all babies do where they scratch the crib with their teeth. Awesome.
-One of his favorite baby foods is Apple Blueberry. And he recently tried Mangos...yum. Hopefully he doesn't have a bad reaction to them (we'll know if he does in the next day or two...)
-He's wearing 12mo. clothes.
-For some reason he loves playing in the kitchen. He's completely mobile, so I'll be in there when all of a sudden I hear the little *slap* from his hands hitting the floor.
-When he crawls around, he likes to push things in with one of his hands. For example, one of his bowls, the phone from his walker, or his giraffe toy.

(bonus) He has a walker and he likes pushing it around! We got this one from Amazon and he has loved it so far. There's lots to play with on the front and the wheels have two speeds, so that's nice. We have it on the slower setting so it doesn't just roll away from him.

Oh and last weekend when we were in Utah, he got to go swimming for the first time! He was a little skeptical and unsure at first, but he warmed up to it and had a lot of fun.
