MYRA - 7 MONTHS

My baby is 7 months old! WHAT. Where did the time go?

She's getting to a really fun stage (also the life-as-we-know-it-is-over stage). Here are some of the things she's doing:

-Army-crawling like a PRO. Over the last few days she's been starting to push herself up on her hands and knees a little more. It's only a matter of time before she's crawling.
-Putting things in her mouth like her life depended on it. When Alex was her age, he didn't put stuff in his mouth. EVERYTHING she comes across ends up in her mouth.
-Eating cereal...sometimes. She's getting better at it, and I'm not getting better at being consistent with her. But we're getting there.
-She's almost to the point where she can sit up on her own. She can do it, but still needs help balancing every once in a while.
-Sleeping! A week or so ago we started being better about putting her in her crib and she's been doing really well, and finally getting into a (sort of) routine. She takes 2-3 naps a day and wakes up twice at night to eat. And let me tell you, it's heaven for this momma.
-Loves bath time (always and forever). She can splash like it's nobody's business.
-She adores her brother (and his toys). You can tell she wants to run, chase, and play with him.
-Smiles like there's no tomorrow! We can't get enough of this girl.

Oh, and the stats! At her 6 mo. check up (which I, of course, forgot to post about...) she was 14.10 lbs (about the 20th percentile) and 26.5 in. (about the 70th percentile). She's petite! But don't let that fool you...the girl is STRONG.

(Stay tuned for a birthday post for Alex. YEP, I said birthday. My other baby is going to be TWO.)
